Atty. Martin graduated at the top of his class from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law and ranked sixth in the 2004 Bar Examinations. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines where he finished his pre-law degree in Business Administration and Accountancy.

Atty. Martin specializes tax advisory, tax litigation, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to law practice, he was connected with the examination department of a government agency exercising supervision over banks.
